How to Make a Custom Board

Choose a board style and we trace it off of our templates.

Each plank is handcut and shaped.

Carve out the board. And the nose and sides are shaped and sanded. Rocker, Straight, SilverBack….you choose

Once the plank is cut and sanded and shaped, it is ready for channels, bottom or hip or both, and stringers.

Bottom Channels are shaped into the board.

Channels are now done, time to drill the stringers.

Choose a color blue, red, black, yellow, pin, or white for your 8lb Top Skins and Sides….. Bottom Surlyn Skins come in grey, white and black.

Bottom Surlyn skin is mounted with heat and the rails begin.

Nose Bulbs or Finger Grips?

Edge Color….Solid (one color) or with a Stripe ?

Number of stringers… one, two, three or four?

Stringers are inserted. They are glued in and then corked with Poly on the ends.

Crescent Tail on the left, Bat Tail on the right, you choose.

Boards are heat stamped with engraved logos using mylar paper.

Board is labeled with Congo Banner and shrunk wrapped for delivery to customer or Surf Shop
